About Our Independent Pharmacy Buying Group

Empire Pharmacies was formed in 1993 as a buying group of independent pharmacies wanting more leverage from their wholesaler and other vendors to compete more closely with the ever expanding retail chains. Since then, our group has proudly expanded to over 50 independent Good Neighbor Pharmacies covering all of California. We currently have member pharmacies located in all of California. All of our pharmacies are intimately connected to serving their communities and have done so for many years. They offer a comprehensive list of services including, Medication Therapy Management, Diabetes consultation, Asthma and other disease state management consultation, Compounding, and Immunizations. They also offer everyday personal and household products, and most have large gift and jewelry sections, cards, party goods, paper goods, pet centers, and photo printing opportunities.
